Gustav Geißler is a German saxophonist and composer, based in Leipzig, Germany. He is an active member of the city's jazz scene with a spectrum reaching from free jazz and original modern jazz music to the standard reportoire.

He is part of bands like KOERPER, Strutter's Ball, Los Propolis, Theo Kaiser Quintet, Motion Trio and other projects.

As a teacher he is giving lessons (saxophone, clarinet and flute), improv workshops and is conducting student ensembles around the city.
